This is why we have developed a special modular course carefully designed to improve your business communication skills.In the mornings you will study on our LSI 30 Course. In the afternoons you will study business modules, covering topics such as:  Banking and Stock Markets, Marketing and Advertising, Recruitment, Sales and Negotiating. You may choose the particular modules that are of interest to you, or follow the complete course to attain an advanced knowledge of business English.

This course is suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well rounded insight into the language and country. Students on the LSI Intensive 30 course study the same lessons as described for General 20 in the morning. During the afternoon there are a range of electives to suit all levels, needs and interests.For courses longer than 24 weeks, please refer to the International School Year courses.

Whether you need general or specialised language, each course is entirely tailored to your needs and adapted to your rate of progress. It is the perfect option for those who have specific targets or limited time. It is particularly convenient for professionals and executives preparing for a business trip abroad, or negotiations and presentations in a foreign language. Our reputation for adaptability and flexibility means that your trainers will always respond to any further requirements you may have.

Academic Year Abroad - AYA (20 L/W)* AYA: 24-48 weeks* 20, 24, 25 or 30 lessons per week* Lesson: 50 minutes (45 minutes in Zurich)* Recommended start dates: First Monday of January, April and September** 2 additional weekly sessions with an LSI teacher.   These sessions include language review and support, professional development and college/university application support.* Beginner to Upper Intermediate levels#* Max class size: 16 students (12 in Zurich,15 in the UK)* Age 16+* Course options: General English Courses, Exam courses, Academic English, Pathways, Business English* Regular testing, academic counselling and assistance with university placementSpend up to a year abroad, achieve a high level of fluency in your chosen language and make new friends from all over the world. ATA and AYA programmes differ from shorter courses at LSI because students receive a greater level of academic support and management, including two additional weekly sessions with a teacher. An individual study plan is designed for you to suit your level, individual aims and the duration of your course. We continue to check your progress with regular meetings to make sure you achieve your aims.* Students can also start on any Monday# Beginner level not available in London Hampstead, Cambridge and BrightonExtra information for students aged 16-17 years.16 and 17 year olds on our adult courses will be treated as adult students and will not be provided with extra supervision during their stay. Mini group courses include general grammar and skills. The focus on negotiations, presentations and meetings is relevant in business and non-business situations.
