Customer Relations SpecialistCurriculum OverviewCustomer Relations Specialist (CRS) Co-op Diploma program covers the foundational principles for delivering quality customer service and provides an understanding of the role of customer service in the greater organizational environment and the function of individual employees within the customer service role. This program is designed to bridge the gap between our English training and career diploma programs. With CRS, students will gain improved English language skills, understanding of the Canadian work environment, and most importantly Canadian work experience. Upon completion of this course, the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:Understand and implement the principles and strategies of effective customer service.Effectively use both verbal and non-verbal communication in dealing with customers.Analyze markets and target market segments and develop a basic marketing strategy to reach the target markets utilizing an understanding of the product cycle.Demonstrate the ability to write and edit emails, letters, and other communications.Understand and apply the principles and strategies of relationship selling.Demonstrate application of various sales techniques.Co-op Work Term OverviewThe co-op work term is essential to develop well-rounded students. By working directly in Canadian companies, you will have the opportunity to learn practical skills that complement their academic learning. This will build on the theories you will study and enrich your knowledge, broaden your career network, and give you much-needed industry experience.Program OverviewThe Customer Relations Specialist co-op diploma program consists of 6 courses and a co-op work term. Students who enroll in the 8 month diploma course must only complete 4 of 6 available courses determined by their start date along with 320 working hours. Students who enroll for the 12 month program will complete all 6 courses, 480 working hours, and be eligible to register for the dual diploma pathway.Digital Marketing SpecialistIn digital marketing positions, the defining characteristics of the 21st century have accelerated changes.
