By following a General English group course of 20 lessons per week, you will develop your core language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and improve your general level of English and understanding in all areas of language knowledge. This means that you study and improve grammar in context, expand your vocabulary around everyday topics and improve your pronunciation. By the end of your course, you can expect to be a more confident and fluent user of English. 

Our Intensive English course is one of the most popular courses at ESE in Malta and is ideal for adults who would like to improve their English level in a shorter time frame. By combining group study sessions with one-to-one lessons in the afternoons, you enjoy the benefit of group interaction and the opportunity to focus on any particular areas of English language during the one-to-one sessions with your teacher.

This means that you study and improve grammar in context, expand your vocabulary around everyday topics and improve your pronunciation. By the end of your course, you can expect to be a more confident and fluent user of English. 

Semi Private Lessons allow two students to learn together with their teacher and study the content of their choice.Semi- Private lessons must be booked together. Also students need to be of the same English level.

The IELTS exam preparation course includes guidance on how to improve exam skills and technique during the morning classes and intense development of the 4 core language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing), language knowledge input and IELTS exam practice in the afternoon sessions.Your exam preparation class includes guidance on how to become a more independent learner, participation in the Student’s Podium (giving presentations and peer teaching) and monthly tutorials with an experienced teacher.

If you need to improve your overall level of English across the core language skills for career or study purposes, the Academic Year course (AYC) gives you the flexibility of choosing your start date, your preferred area of focus (every six weeks) as well as which internationally-recognised certificates you want to obtain by the end of your course. This means that the AYC allows you to personalise your course according to your learning objectives.The AYC course is popular with students who need a more intensive course to really improve their level of English.  The AYC course includes 6 lessons a day, and requires students to undertake more homework and projects than the General English courses. This helps you to achieve your English language goals faster and more cost effectively. 

The TOEIC ® test is recognized worldwide and measures and certifies your level of English in an international business environment. Following a Business English course allows you to improve your English for career or work purposes. The course will help you develop the core language skills which are necessary for business such as listening, speaking, reading and business writing. You will you become more fluent and confident meeting other business people speaking about business-related topics. In addition, you will develop your knowledge of the language (grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation) in the context of general business topics.
