The Diploma of Intensive English course allows you to immerse yourself in English for up to 48 weeks and you’ll learn, live and think like a native English speaker. You will have a personalised study plan, regular progress tutorials, and regular language level tests. The course combines 20 general English lessons (15 hours) with 8 Special Interest Group (SIG) lessons per week (6 hours). In the general English lessons, students will focus on improving their English language skills across the 4 key skill areas at a consistent rate — reading, writing, listening and speaking. In the Special Interest Group lessons, students can choose from a number of different options based on their own interests and language learning goals. Example options include — Exam Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge); Business English; Group Discussion; Art and Design; Speech and Pronunciation; Academic Writing Skills; etc. The Diploma of Intensive English course is available year-round with weekly start dates, and is suitable for students of all English levels.

The Compact Course offers 20 lessons (15 hours) of general English lessons per week in the UK. Lessons will improve all your key skills at a consistent rate: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. You will be assigned to your general English class based on your current Kings Level. We have classes suitable for students at Level 1 (Beginner) right through to Level 8 (Advanced), and you will progress up through the levels as your skills improve and your confidence grows. The Compact Course is available year-round with weekly start dates, and is suitable for students of all English levels.

The IELTS Preparation course is aimed at students who need to improve the key language skills needed to score as high as possible in all part of the IELTS exam. Students study 20 lessons of General English lessons (15 hours), and 8 lessons of IELTS preparation lessons (6 hours) each week. They can also combine the course with additional one-to-one lessons of IELTS preparation as required. The International English Language Testing Services (IELTS) is the most established English language assessment exam recognised world-wide by universities, governments, and professional associations. The IELTS Program is essential for students who need a satisfactory IELTS exam score whether it is for university entrance, professional accreditation or immigration purposes.

The English Plus Art and Design course is ideal for students who want to improve their English whilst practicing their art and design skills.It allows you to prepare a portfolio of artwork for future study or work purposes. It combines general English with specialist art and design related disciplines.Course structure = 20 lessons (15 hours) of general English + 8 lessons (6 hours) Art and Design per week The art and design lesson content is determined by the student, and is structured around their experience and personal interests. This allows a broad range of students to gain a different, personally tailored experience in art and design. Each student fills in a questionnaire on arrival and has a tutorial with their art teacher in their first lesson where they discuss their art background and previous experience as well as their learning goals.Students can attend with different levels of experience in art and design, from degree level, or pre-masters students to complete beginners, and can attend for different amounts of time. Those who are planning further study in art and design can get portfolio advice and expert guidance on how to prepare effectively for art courses or job applications.
