The Dutch course beginners 2 (A1+) has two different start dates on the same weekday on different timetables. The course that starts in January is offered online only. This Course offered by Dutch Courses Rotterdam will help you in the following subjects: *Understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of concrete needs. *Buy products from the market or a shop and ask questions about them. * Order food and drinks. *Have a conversation at the doctor’s and describe your symptoms to him/her. * describe houses. *Have a conversation at the doctor’s and describe your symptoms to him/her. * Name facts that happened in the past. *Write a short text about the topics in this course. *Listen to a conversation regarding the topics in this course and get the most important information from it. *Read and understand the most important information from a basic text regarding the topics in the course.

The Dutch - Beginners 3 (A2) course will help you in the following subjects: *Explain what is wrong with your bike and get it repaired *Talk about situations in the past, for example, what you did as a kid. *Talk about your job, studies, and hobbies, and ask other people about their job, studies *and hobbies. *React adequately when someone has a birthday, new job, new house, etc. *Ask and give directions. *Give your opinion and ask other people for their opinion. *Make small talk. *Make promises. *Talk about sports *Ask for information in a polite manner. *Talk about your short-term and long-term future plans. *Ask other people’s future plans.

The online courses are ideal for students that wish to improve their language skills remotely. We offer online classes in the evening (Central European Time). The course lasts a total of 5.5 weeks. Classes are 3 times per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

Our classes cover all of the key study areas: listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary which are covered through core tuition in the Main sessions. Regular homework and self-study activities are provided to promote learner autonomy and help students to consolidate the things they have covered in class.

This course is suitable for students who want to have a deep immersion into the German language and culture. The course is Standard German, an optional combination with exam preparation. The course is only offered in-class to encourage students to improve their German language communication skills.
