General English is our most popular language course to learn English and improve your level. Our teachers design interactive and stimulating classes with clear aims and outcomes, all at our school here in West London. We teach all levels including beginner English, advanced English and proficiency. You can also choose to combine General English with IELTS exam preparation, First certificate in English or Advanced Certificate in English. All our general English classes are based on the communicative approach. This means there is a strong focus on speaking and listening skills, as well as reading, writing, pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. Because the classes are learner-centered, you are given the opportunity to practice everything related to language with students from all over the world. Our Academic Team selects relevant and interesting course books that change each term (12 or 13 weeks for full-time courses and 25 weeks for part-time courses) to ensure you receive a variety of language input.

Since the pandemic the accommodation is very limited, we strongly recommend you to book at least 3 months in advance. The advantage of staying in a residence is the wide array of facilities available and the opportunity to mix with students from all over the world. There are a range of accommodation options: single, double or shared rooms. You may have the option of a private or shared bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided and usually changed on a weekly basis. Cleaning of the room is usually done by the housekeeping staff of the residence, but you are responsible for keeping it tidy. These services could obviously vary from one residence to another.
