The 25+ Course is designed to make the best use of a short period of study. We aim to improve students' confidence and accuracy when they speak English. The course includes: English language work with a focus on Spoken English and conversation skills. Lessons are designed to develop confidence in using English in both social and professional situations. An adult environment in a building dedicated to our mature students over the age of 25. Social events and excursion possibilities to help students make the most of their short stay in Chester. Students will complete a questionnaire prior to their course and our staff will design the course programme to reflect their needs. With our small classes, learning is highly effective and personalised.

English in Chester, established in 1976, is a medium-sized, friendly, English language school. We are based in 3 elegant buildings in Stanley Place, a small historic square in the old walled city of Chester. The school buildings were the homes of Chester's rich and famous people over 200 years ago. Two of the buildings form the main school. The third building, on the other side of the square, is called The Language Training Centre. This is where we hold our 25+ Courses. We have a wide range of facilities, such as a patio, a cafeteria, a student lounge, a computer room, free wifi access, free access to learning materials...
