REBECCA HAYES, CENTRE DIRECTOR OF EC AUCKLAND

Why should a student choose your school?

Our school is located in a beautiful and multicultural waterfront city, close to shops, restaurants and bars. Our students get to experience a taste of college life on the shared college campus. Art lovers will enjoy the Auckland Art Gallery for great Kiwi art, and the Wallace Arts Centre’s rotating private collections. Our staff provides a safe and friendly atmosphere from the Welcome to the Farewell.

In your opinion, which are the main benefits for a student to study abroad?

Students get the chance to meet new people and experience new cultures, all while improving their language skills both in the classroom and out on the street.

How do you see the future of language tourism?

Language tourism will always be a vibrant industry as people will always be seeking opportunities to learn and explore beyond their own country and language.

What types of courses do you think will be most in demand in the future?

Focused courses that provide students with the skills to continue to further education or for employment upgrades.
