Italian Courses in Italy, in Bologna

This ALCE Combined Italian course consists of 20 hours of GROUP General Italian +5 hours of private (one-to-one) lessons per week. The private lessons give students the opportunity to concentrate on their own individual needs and interests. The group course is from 9.00am to 1.15pm in the morning + the private courses take usually place between 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm in the afternoon. Complete beginners MUST start the first Monday of the month (we have complete beginner classes every month)

This highly intensive Italian course combines ALCE's Standard Italian Course in the morning (20h) + 10 hours of Standard Italian Course in the afternoon in mini-group. This course is available all year round and is ideal for participants who only have 2 or 3 weeks. Here students have many chances to improve the language faster and also get the opportunity to ask all the questions about their doubts, put in practice everything they have learned in the morning and consolidate the learning immediately. This is a course aimed at students over the age of 45. Morning lessons (which take place in small groups of 3/4 to 7/8 students) are held together with the other students so that the Master Class participants can benefit the academic excellence we usually offer in our intensive standard program.​However, our teachers are aware of the specific needs of students of different ages, their different learning speeds, and their greater interest in the cultural aspects of Italian such as customs, festivals, history and literature.The courses last for two weeks with 4 hours of general Italian a day and has a specific program of specially designed activities and excursions for the over 45s.The course program includes 20 Italian lessons a week + a wide range of cultural activities for 5 days a week.The cost of the course includes:- entrance to all museums- train tickets- dinner with a teacher- a half-day excursion- a full day trip (the Saturday)We are also happy to make reservations with great host-families, hotels, B&B, or private independent flats.

Language skills addressed include: listening comprehension, fluency development, oral intelligibility, reading, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development for University levels.Level: A2+/B1 (pre-intermediate+) Students with a lower level need to take a general Italian course first
