Our most popular General English language course consists of 20 lessons of General English Fluency group classes per week. This English course allows Non-EU students to progress through at least two levels over an 8-month period and gain a professional, internationally-recognized English qualification. This English Academic Year can serve as a good foundation in the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, with a strong focus on communication. This teacher training course in Dublin focuses on the fundamental aspects of blended learning and how it is utilised in the modern classroom. In conjunction with this focus, this course has a key element of language development in order to aid the course participants’ ability to deliver effective language lessons. We will look at the role of the teacher in a blended classroom and some of the key tools which can be utilised in the blended context.

The Methodology and Language Development course in Dublin combines the latest in best practice in general pedagogy with the utilisation of practical online tools for education. It will give participants both a refresher in the areas of lesson planning, classroom management, and content knowledge, as well as introducing some innovations in practice which can be integrated the current context. This course is designed for teachers who are looking to upskill in a number of areas. Long-term program students usually begin in our Intensive English Language Course to gain a firm understanding of general English skills. This course offers 26 hours of study per week.

CES is delighted to announce for 2018 new university pathway pre-sessional English language programme in cooperation with NCUK. Students will study at CES for 3, 6 or 9 months to raise their IELTS score to the level required to join our partner delivering the Northern Consortium Foundation Programme (NCUK).This will provide guaranteed access to OVER 300 University courses in universities in the UK and Ireland (subject to achieving correct IELTS and foundation results). The programme will provide expert preparation for the IELTS exam as well as giving students the academic study skills required to succeed in the further and higher education environment.
