Our long-term English language Academic Year Programmes (AYP) offer you a substantial level of flexibility. You can combine different modules and courses to suit your individual requirements. Long-term program students usually begin in our Intensive English Language Course to gain a firm understanding of general English skills. This course offers 20 hours of study per week.

Study & Travel is a unique programme delivered in Ireland, it combines the opportunity for NON EU students to study in Ireland whilst giving the ability to visit Ireland and Europe. This course is designated for NON EU students.

Description​General English programmes are suitable for everyone and provide a good foundation in the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. With a strong focus on communication skills, these courses also provide a solid foundation in the key skills required in the Trinity College London ISE Examinations as well as Cambridge examinations.The method used is task-based, which means that by the end of each level students are expected to be able to complete a certain amount of tasks through English. There is a central course book and workbook and teachers supplement these using authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, menus, manuals, brochures and a range of other books.All courses incorporate the use of Digital Interactive Whiteboards, the Internet and audio-visual technology. AwardISI Certificate in English. Students have the option of sitting the relevant Trinity College London ISE examination, which takes place in the school, or oneof the Cambridge Examinations at an external exam centre.Entry requirementsStudents must be at least 18 years old on the start date. Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

This is a unique intensive Berlitz Business English Course and offers the single, most effective way to learn a language in a short space of time. The business English course starts at 9.00 AM and finishes at 6.00 PM each day and includes a ‘working-lunch’ with your teacher, a 3 way conversational session with two teachers, multimedia- study and a self-study period each day. The Business English Course is from Monday to Friday and incorporates 60 lesson units per week.

Modern Methodology & Language Development for Primary School Teachers of EnglishThis two-week course provides language-development classes and methodology modules focusing on the teaching of English in the primary classroom and on the needs of young learners. The main focus is on practical ideas and materials development. Modules include: Songs and Games in the Language Classroom; Drama and Role-Play; Tasks and Activities for Language Learning; English Across the Curriculum; Developing Listening and Speaking Skills; Internet Resources for Language Teachers. Practical workshops focus on helping participants to devise materials and lessons for their own teaching situations. A minimum language level of CEFR B1 is required for this programme.

The GE Fluency Intensive 32 is one of our most intensive general English courses. It allows students to combine 20 lessons of general English in the mornings with 12 lessons of individual training in the afternoons. Before beginning their intensive English language course, students will complete a needs analysis and interview with our Academic Manager to design their individual afternoon program.

Our CLIL course is intended for non-native teachers of other subjects who wish to develop their own English language skills and examine the methodology of CLIL - Content and Language Integrated Learning. This course provides opportunities for teachers to discuss and share ideas with colleagues from Europe and beyond.
