The General English Course at ELC Eastbourne is designed to give you the confidence to communicate effectively in real-life situations. The course provides effective English language training for people who need English for work, further study,travel/tourism or for your own pleasure. In addition, it can help provide preparation for a number of exams including IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, KET and PET. There is a balanced programme, focusing on the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, whilst covering essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, idioms and colloquial language.

This Italian course is meant to be for those who want to learn the basics of the language giving special importance to the practice of grammar, listening, reading, and speaking. This course adds 6 more hours of individual classes than a standard course at Italianopoli.

This General English language course is made up of 20 lessons per week/15 hours per week that combine language learning with a special focus on developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. This is best for students who want to study at a steady pace (Morning classes only)

Students will learn all the essentials of the English language through a task-based methodology with this Intensive General English language course. While the communicative approach is central, we also consider the individual learning style of our students to ensure they achieve the best possible learning outcomes. All four English language skills, reading, writing, listening and speaking, are given the appropriate class time through our tailored academic syllabus.

France Langue's weekly courses are open to any level, from complete beginners to advanced levels, C1. The courses ​consist of 20 lessons of 45 minutes in a week, in the morning or in the afternoon from Monday to Friday. This option is perfect for those willing to start learning French or improve and perfect their level while enjoying enough free time to take advantage of their stay in France. To complement general French classes, France langue offers 2 additional workshop online. These are specifically targeted workshops focusing on one element of the French language, suited to your needs and desires.

The Semi Intensive Spanish Language Course of 10 lessons is taught in small groups, with students who have the same level of the Spanish language as you. The students will work on all aspects of the Spanish language: grammar, conversation, vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension, and writing. Courses have a communicative character and will give you the confidence to use your Spanish in everyday situations. Classes generally take place in the morning.

This course includes the General English classes, and also allows you to personalise your course by taking an additional 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of electives. You will benefit from excellent guidance, monitoring and feedback throughout this course. As your English and your confidence improve, you will broaden your horizons and gain a huge advantage in your chosen career or education. This programme is for students who study for 24 weeks or more.

This course develops all aspects of language competence in a personalised programme coordinated by the core teacher. Our General English Morning 20 course covers the key language learning areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening, using skills-based and situational learning combined with one-to-one tutorials and regular progress tests to respond to the student’s individual learning needs.

Our Semi-Intensive English course is a semi-intensive programme that allows you to balance classroom tuition with structured study and free time activities. You will improve your English language ability at a speed you feel comfortable with, while having time to enjoy your destination.This course is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced and you will be placed in a class which is suitable for your level. The course focuses on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking. You’ll also learn vocabulary and grammar, and how to speak in formal and informal discussions and strategies.

On the General English 20 Course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week (15 hours), which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
